I developed this assessment to use with our Y7 beginner students after their first half term. It could be used as a formative assessment, summative assessment or simply as an in-class activity. The mark scheme is included as part of the download.
In order to complete this, learners would need to have covered:
Greetings
How they are feeling (fenomenal, regular, fatal)
What their name is (me llamo)
Where they live (vivo en…)
How old they are (tengo… años)
When their birthday is (mi cumpleaños es el… de…)
The EDSM box at the bottom can be used for whatever grades or ‘levels’ your school uses (we use emerging, developing, securing and mastery).
All feedback is very welcome.
